Hi, friends! We have a new filter +pack out today in A Color Story, and I am so excited to tell you about this one. Introducing Cottage Core! Cottage Core is inspired by the romance of everyday living—the good parts, like sourdough starters, spring walks, and the perfect spot on the grass right between the sun and the shade.

The filters in this +pack focus on providing an overall softness, which means many of them feature low-contrast edits, as you can see above! The above photo was edited using the filter “Daydream,” which we’ve already heard is a new favorite from some of our friends on Instagram.

Many of the Cottage Core filters emphasize green tones, muted yellows, and there’s even an incredible black and white filter in the mix. We’re obsessed with the dreamlike quality of the above photo of Jenni from our team, edited using “Eyelet.” This sky was a true blue before, and this filter gives it such a cool-girl vibe.

And finally, this photo was edited using “Wistful.” This filter is the coolest toned of the bunch, and it almost has an instant film quality to it! I imagine these would be the edits you’d get if you brought a Polaroid to a picnic.
